Marshak, Peter C. on June 1, 2003, surrounded by family, Peter passed away after a courageous struggle with cancer. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Shirley, son Patrick and daughter Heather, his mother Mary, brothers David and Mervin. Peter was born at Bruno, Saskatchewan November 2, 1935. He made many friends during his 40 year career with Royal Bank throughout Saskatchewan and British Columbia. After retirement in 1994, Peter and Shirley relocated from Prince George to Nanaimo where he enjoyed gardening, curling and traveling. His sincerity and forthrightness in dealing with friends and associates and his wonderful sense of humor will be missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, June 7, 2003 at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
