Stacey, Percy Lawrence

Feb. 8, 1934 - Feb. 23, 2017

Perk, as he was affectionately known leaves many wonderful memories for all that knew him. His whole life was his family. He was a loving, playful, precious gentleman with a gentle soul. He raced hydroplanes, flew airplanes, fished and cruised China Creek, water-skiied, snow skiied, baby sat and traveled in a motorhome down south. He could build anything and loved music of any kind, jazz festivals and airshows. He especially loved making the grandchildren happy and most of all a good laugh.

He will never be forgotten by his loving wife, Louise, of 59½ years; his son Rodney (Anne) and children Quinn and Ashton; daughter Dianne (Bruce) and children Emily and Eliza; also his sister Dorothy Irving and numerous nieces and nephews.

The day before he slipped away we had a wonderful afternoon remembering the good times. His friends were many and his laugh hearty. It could be heard wherever he was. He gave me a big hug, blew kisses and waved goodbye. The next day he slipped away peacefully.

My Perfect Percy has gone to a better place. Listen carefully, you may hear his laugh in the rustling leaves and blue skies. No service by request. A private friendship picnic will be held this summer.
