McLaren, Nancy Wyn
born in Porth, Wales on December 2, 1914, Nancy passed away March 22, 2005 in Nanaimo, BC at the age of 90. Raised in Nanaimo, Nancy moved to Trail, BC in 1935, returning to Nanaimo in the early 1970’s. Predeceased by her husband Ernie McLaren and daughters Dianne and Rosalie, Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her family; sons Ivor (Roberta) and Wayne (Willow), daughters Sharon (Jim) Akitt and Terry (Ray) Kniert, 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 11:00AM in the Bowen Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC.
