Scott, Myrtle K.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba February 11, 1919. Passed away in Nanaimo September 22, 2004. Myrtle was born and educated in Winnipeg and married Roderick in 1944 and sailed to Australia as a war bride where she bore two daughters. They returned to Winnipeg in 1950 and retired to Nanaimo in 1983 where she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years in July 1992. She is survived by her daughters Louise and Lynne (Bob), 2 grandsons Robert (Candice) and Michael (Anna-Marie) 1 granddaughter Raegan and 1 great granddaughter Brianna. A tea to celebrate Myrtle’s life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2004 in the “Brewers Dining Room” Longwood Brew Pub and Restaurant 2pm-4pm. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made in Myrtles memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
