Labiuk, Micheal (Mike)
It is with great sadness that we announce that Mike passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on November 29, 2003 at the age of 73. Mike served 21 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, in both Canada and abroad, and received 2 medals. Mike is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters Sharon and Janet; grandchildren Jacqueline and Aaron; sister Ann and brothers Bill, Andy, Nick and Metro as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Mike was predeceased by his brothers, John, Victor, George, sisters Mary, Jean and Tillie. He was also predeceased by his parents Matty and Martha. No service has been requested. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Mike’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
