It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Maureen Rossiter in the Palliative Care Unit of NRH. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness with cancer.
Maureen was born in Kamloops B.C. She was predeceased by her mother, father, two sisters, and her daughter, Sharon in 2005. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Eric; son, Gary (Laura); daughter, Janine (Claude); 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Victoria for many years.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation. Many thanks to the nurses & staff at the Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care and kindness. There will be no service at Maureen’s request.
