Swift, Mary, a native daughter of Nanaimo, passed away peacefully at Dufferin Place November 30, 2002. Age 84 years. She was predeceased by her husband Norman in 1984 and is survived by his son Mark (Judy) of Sundre, Alberta; granddaughter Suzie (Chris) Veysey of Spruce Grove, Alberta; grandson Will (Donna) of Nanaimo; great-granddaughter Katherine Veysey, and 1 brother Dick Rallison of Victoria. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Mount Benson Funeral Home, 125 Wallace Street, Nanaimo, B.C. on Friday, December 6, 2002 at 2: p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Mary’s memory would be appreciated.
