Catherine passed peacefully at her home November 20, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born in Belfast N. Ireland and is survived and lovingly remembered by her children: Robert (Shirley), Caroline (Robert),; grandchildren: Paul, Nigel, Gregg, Angela and spouses; also 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1975.
Mum had a wonderful life and was a joy to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A sincere thanks to Dr. Mann, Dr. Kincaid, all the Home Care Support Workers and Nurses for their kindness and compassion to her.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Church of the Nazarene, 2150 Departure Bay Road, Nanaimo at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Haiti Hot Lunch Program” through the Church of the Nazarene.
