Vance, Marion ( Minnie)
Passed away peacefully at NRGH May 19, 2006 with daughter Norma and son David lovingly by her side. Predeceased by her husband Jack in 1981, Minnie is also survived and will be greatly missed by 3 wonderful grandchildren, Kim Noble, Kelsey Duclos, & Dean Duclos, with whom she enjoyed & cherished loving relationships. Also remembered with love by son-in-law Stan Kushner and daughter-in-law Brenda Vance. Sisters Mary Mason & Isa Wilson (Scotland), Brothers Bob White & Ronnie White, plus numerous nieces and nephews in Scotland and extended family in California. Minnie immigrated from Falkirk, Scotland in 1947 as a war bride and was a hard worker who resisted retirement until the age of 80. She was well loved by many people, including life-long friends Jackie (Bruno) Clavora, and Doris (Sonny) Hodgson. Also lovingly remembered by the Wong family and special friends Lynn & Jen Hunter, also Lorraine Grounds (Greg). Minnie was always an avid supporter of childrens’ charities. In lieu of flowers, we know she would be delighted if you chose to make a donation to the Children’s Charity of your choice.
