It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Marion at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Ken of 62 years in 2006.
Marion will be missed and always remembered by her daughter Lorrie (Gordon) Piper, grandsons Dean (Kim), Gavin (Alena), and her brother Doug (Lois) Kirk.
Mom lived only a short 16 months in Nanaimo. Her new home was Long Lake Chateau. The wonderful friendly staff made her life very enjoyable at the “Pink Palace”. Those who knew her will miss her good humour and quick wit. We bid a loving farewell to you.
Respecting mom’s wishes, there will be no service.
