Lemieux, Marion Eleanor (nee Callaghan)
Passed away in the Nanaimo Regional Hospital on August 9, 2003 at the age of 82 years. She was born in Halifax, August 27, 1920. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Real Joseph, a W.W. II veteran in 1975. She will be dearly remembered by her loving daughter; Pauletta, two grandsons; Richard and Mark and her beautiful great granddaughter; 5 year old Amberlee, who brought her great enjoyment. Marion had a special gift to reach out and touch anyone that knew her. As well, she touched many others who did not know her, by her countless years of charity and volunteer work. She will leave an empty space in everyone’s heart. She was one of God’s finest creations, and she will be dearly missed. There will be a celebration of her life at St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Cedar Road, at 1pm. Friday, August 15th.
