PEARSON, Marie Karen
Born Innisfall, Alberta, October 23, 1946, passed away December 10, 2005 after a courageous fight with cancer. She lived in Courtenay, BC until 1970, then relocated to Nanaimo. Predeceased by her parents George & Verley Medd, Marie is survived by her husband Tony, brothers Bentley (Myrtle), Preston (Janet) Grant and sister Heather-Lynn (Dale). Stepsons Bill (Alexis), Robert (Diane), John, Greg & Brent. She will be dearly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews as well as many friends. Marie loved and cherished each of her relationships and made friends everywhere she went. She liked to travel, enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, cooking and petite point to name a few interests. A celebration of Marie's life will be held Friday, December 16, 2005, 2:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's name to a charity of their choice.
