FOWL ER: Mar ga ret. Born: Au gust 25,1911, died May 19, 2002. Mar ga ret passed away peace ful ly at Duf fer in Place Ex tend ed Care in Na nai mo. She was pre de ceased by her hus band of 49 years, Art in Oc tob er 1985 and her broth er Bill Alex an der. She is sur vived by her son Ed ward, her daugh ter Lois (Gor don) Jones, grand son Eric (Yvette) Jones and great grand son Ma son. Also sur vived by sisters Agnes Mil li gan, Jean Mas sick and Jes sie (Dar rel) Can tlon. A life long res i dent of Na nai mo, Mar ga ret spent many years in ac tive com mun i ty serv ice. She was a mem ber of Na tive Daugh ters of BC and was ac tive in her church. She was choo sen as Na nai mo’s Wom an of the Year in l972. A memo ri al serv ice will be held on Thurs day, May 30th at 1pm at St. An drew’s Pres by te rian Church, 4235 De par ture Bay Road, Na nai mo.
