CAMPBELL - Mae “Renie”
September 15, 1929 to July 25, 2006
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my Mother, Renie at the age of 76 years. Survived by her only daughter Moira (Barry) of Calgary, Alberta and her beloved grandchildren Jordan and Bailey. She was gentle and kind, and she will always be remembered by her greeting everyone with an enthusiastic “Hello Dear”. In her younger years she lived and worked in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta and various communities of British Columbia. She took final residence in Nanaimo 35 years ago and vowed to never leave her Island Paradise of Nanaimo. Many thanks to her kind friends, home support workers and all at Kiwanis.
Celebration of Life and Tea will be held in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC at 2:00 p.m. on August 19, 2006. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Tribute may be made to the Victoria Cancer Clinic or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Renie.
