WHITTA, Mabel
Passed away peacefully at Cedar Unit Dufferin Place, Nanaimo, BC, on November 21, 2005 at the age of 93 years. Mabel was predeceased by her loving husband in 1996 and is survived by sons Don (Yvonne) and Brian (Beverly), grandchildren Rick (Robyn), Glen (Susan), Debbie (Trevor), Jason (Stacy), great grandchildren Jennifer (Jasen), Raymond, James and Graham, nieces, nephews and many friends. Mabel was born in England, moved to East Welling at 2 months of age and spent most of her life there. Mabel worked at the Nanaimo School Board and then the Biological Station for many years. She was a volunteer at Dufferin Place. No service by family request. The family wishes to thank the staff and doctors of Dufferin Place for their very kind, gentle and loving care. Donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital or to the S.P.C.A. or a charity of ones choice.
