June 18, 1936 ~ July 9, 2010
Passed away July 9, 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Louise will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her son Billy in 1975 and husband Bill in 1978. She will be lovingly remembered by her life partner Gerry Brooks; children: Diane, George (Rosemary), April (Rick); grandchildren: Crystal (Wayne) Orosz, Valerie (Dean) Davidson, Jackie, Kelsey, Alicia, and Tia Bowater, Jennifer and Jessie Shay; great grandchildren: Kara Davidson, William and Sebastian Marvel, Marcus and Addison Orosz.
Mom was a proud member of the Cedar Lions Club.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at Nanaimo Travellers Lodge for all their love and support. They were like family for the last three years.
A Memorial Tea will be held at the house on July 25, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital.
