GRANT, Lorill (nee Douglas)
Passed away peacefully on February 14th, 2010 at Malaspina Gardens in Nanaimo, with loving family by her side. Lorill was born on February 8th, 1930 on Lasqueti Island and is predeceased by her parents, brother (Norman) and daughter (Roslin). She is survived by her devoted husband, of 40 years, Charles (Charlie), brother George, sister Alice, daughter Robin, son Floyd, grandchildren Aaron, Honey Dawn and Holly, great grandchild Daryl Jr. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Malaspina Gardens for their many acts of kindness during her time there. Lorill was a humorous and caring person whose smile, laughter and memory will always be cherished in all those lives she touched. A funeral is declined at Lorill’s request. Final placement of her remains and a celebration of life to follow in Spring where family and friends will convene in her honor.
