Lili passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 4, 2008 at home in Nanaimo. A loving and devoted wife, mother, friend and mentor, Lili was born in Zemun, Yugoslavia and predeceased by her mother Marija Nadj, and father Jovan Radenkovic. She is survived by her husband Anton; sons Danilo (Vancouver), and Matej; daughter Naomi, and stepchildren Luka (Beograd, Yugoslavia) and Martina (Montreal).

Lili graduated from the Faculty of Music in Beograd, Yugoslavia and was engaged as a piano teacher and accompanist at the Conservatory of Music in Beograd for thirteen years.

Since immigrating to Canada in 1997, Lili made many friends in her new home. A gentle, kind, and generous person, she loved to be with people and was loved by everyone. Warm, sweet and full of fun. Lili had the gift of listening, and with her wise and spiritual perspective always strove to uplift and encourage others. She was a truth-seeker, who looked for the good in everybody and lived with grace, patience and humility. An avid reader of spiritual and health/nutritional books, Lili loved her family and the outdoors - jogging, walking, blueberry picking, and being at the beach. She was an angel here on earth. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 18th at 2pm at Christ Community Church, 2221 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo, BC.
