December 4, 2004. Born Dec 30, 1930 in rural Saskatchewan passed away suddenly in Nanaimo with loving family around her. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Dave Nelson, Brenda Nelson (Bob), Cindy Curtis (Floyd), Tom Nelson and her many Grandchildren. She is Survived by her sisters Lizzy, Irene, Mary and brother Peter, predeceased by her mother Mary and father Peter and sister Hilda. Mom spent her younger years in Alberta she lived in Field, BC before moving to Ucluelet in 1983 to be close to family. She worked at Pacific Sands Resort for many years before moving to Nanaimo as her health forced her to retire early. She resided in Nanaimo for several years before finally settling in Port Alberni in 2002. Family service to be held December 30th. Mom’s ashes to be scattered at the place she believed was God’s Place, Emerald Lake. Arrangements confidently assigned to
