Dance, Leslie Gideon passed away at the Dwelling Place, October 16, 2002 age 85 years. Sadly missed by his wife Eileen; Eileen’s brother John (Sandy) McCormack of Mass. U.S.A.; numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends. A long time resident of Cedar, Gabriola and Nanaimo, Les operated Les Dance Jewelers on Commercial Street. He served overseas with the New Westminster regiment in Italy and North Africa during W.W. 2 and was a prisoner of war. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Mount Benson Funeral Home, 125 Wallace Street, Nanaimo Wednesday October 23, 2002 at 11:00 am. reception following.
