Len was born in Nanaimo, where he worked as an orderly in various hospitals, retiring in 1986. He was an avid gardener his entire life creating and maintaining many beautiful ponds and gardens. He loved exploring new things, much of which he did with his lifelong friend Bill. He is survived by his baby sister Irene, his children, Terry, Judy (Cecil), Louise (Ken), grandchildren, Jinny, Kathleen (Dylan), Aaron , and many lifelong friends.
