ALLAN, Lawrence (Larry) Patrick
1944 ~ 2011
Known to friends as Big Lar was born March 17, 1944 passed away on June 14, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred (Wif) and Elvira (Sis) Allan. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Laura, children Cindy (Peter) Haack, Leanna (Rob) Hatch, Heather (Campbell) Udle, grandchildren Tyler (“Bubba”), Taya (“Pumpkin”), Connor (“Tooter”), Brennen (“Smiley”), Austin (“Wiffy”), Logan (“Trouble”), Micaela (“Sweetpea”), and numerous cousins and friends.
Larry worked at S. Madill for 37 years as a welder and shop foreman, was a lifetime Harewood resident, enjoyed being Papa to his grandchildren, spending time on the water fishing, watching Canucks on TV and doing his daily crosswords.
A private family gathering has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of “Big Lar” may be made to the Canucks Place and Children’s Hospital.
