Larry Joseph Guild
(April, 1944 - July, 2005)
Our beloved husband and father, Larry Guild, passed away on the evening of July 9th, 2005. His passing was very peaceful, in the presence of immediate family in the comfort of his home.
He will be remembered for his keen sense of humour, dedication to family, and his unbelievable strength and courage throughout his two-year battle with cancer. He fought to the end, and we were very lucky to have him at the house for the last two months. He made the most of every moment, and there were many laughs, nice family meals, and card games where he came out on top virtually every time. May he rest in peace.
At his request, there will be no formal services. A "celebration of life" gathering will be held at 3pm, July 19, 2005, at the family home.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations instead to your local Palliative Home Care office in the name of Larry Guild. They are a very caring and hard-working group that could certainly use the support.
He touched so many people's lives, and his dauntless spirit will continue to shine through all of us - forever.
