CRABTREE, Kathleen Annie, a long time resident of Nanaimo passed away peacefully at Malaspina Gardens on April 30, 2004 at the age of 92. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Frederick in 1995. She is survived by three sons, William (Lynn), Dennis (Lydia), Wes (Chris) and one daughter Florence (Jim); grandchildren Kelly (Douglas), Bryan, Geoff, Kimberly, Grant, Bruce (Lynn), Pam, Chris, Ron (Cathy); great grandchildren Curtis, Sean, Samantha (Jason), Delaney, Joel and one great, great grandson Logan. Kathleen and Fred ran the Cedar General Store from 1961 to 1968. She was an active member of Cedar Women’s Institute and Yellow Point Women’s guild for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC on Saturday, May 8, 2004 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathleen's memory to a charity of choice.
