Laing, Karin Ann
born in Germany 1939, passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Hospital on October 24, 2003. Karin is survived by her husband Gary, daughter Teri, grandson Matthew and 2 brothers Gary and Rolph and their families. Karin was very involved in volunteer work with the Miss Nanaimo Pageant and the Canadian Cancer Society. Karin spent many years as the owner of Karin’s Coiffures and will be missed by her staff and patrons. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, B.C. on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
