Gaspardone, Joseph “Joe”
passed away December 2, 2003 at Nanaimo Hospital. Joe was born March 13, 1910 in Kelowna, B.C. Joe is survived by his wife of 73 years Dorothy; daughter Marjorie (Clarence) Denslow; son Lon (Sandra); grandchildren Michelle Woodruff of Calgary, Greg Denslow, Darryl Gaspardone; great grandchildren Chris and Kyle Woodruff, Chase and Jordon Denslow and Spence Gaspardone. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Roxanne Denslow in 1976. Joe was a long time member and Bingo caller at Pleasant Valley Social Center and was a long time member of A.C.T.-U.C.T., he was in the Armed Forces for five years and was a long time employee of Metropolitan Life and later an Insurance Salesman with Nanaimo Realty. Joe will be sadly missed by family and many friends. A private family service was held at his request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joe’s memory to the Nanaimo S.P.C.A.
