John William Vennard
May 2nd, 1948 - Sept. 11th, 2017
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of John William Vennard.
John passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit with family by his side following a short, but courageous battle with cancer.
He was taken from us too soon and will be eternally missed by his wife of 33 years, Janet, and their son, Luke.
John will also truly be missed by other family members and many dear friends and colleagues.
John was predeceased by his mother Irene McCully (Vennard).
John retired a few years ago which allowed him more time to pursue his love of gardening, projects around their home, and restoring motorcycles.
Whether it was flying to the beautiful Caribbean or going on a motorcycle trip across the Pacific Northwest.
John truly cherished the many journeys that he had made with his beloved wife, Janet. He enjoyed his motorcycle friends and will be missed on the Wednesday Night Rides.
Donations may be made in John's memory to the B.C. Cancer Agency Lodge in Victoria and/or Wheels for Wellness Vancouver Island located in Courtney, B.C.
A Memorial will be held at 4:00 pm, €on Friday, September 29th, 2017, €at Costin Hall 7232 Lantzille Rd., Lantzville, B.C.
