TUKHAM, John A. (Jack)
Born December 22, 1924 Comox, BC. Passed away January 19, 2009 in Ladysmith after a lengthy illness.
Jack's young life was spent in Headquarters, BC and his schooling was in Headquarters and Tsolum schools. He spent his adult life living in Ladysmith working in the forest industry as a draftsman for Comox Logging and Crown Forest. Jack's love of the outdoors was very evident with camping, fishing, gardening, and golf. He also enjoyed his years of service with the Kinsmen.
He leaves his loving wife, Dorothy, son Rob (Kate), daughter Deb (Harold Rutti) and son Fred (Jan), 4 grandchildren: Jen, Pat, Bryan and Dan. Also a brother Fred and family in England.
We will miss you "PAPA"
A big thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor of the Lodge on 4th for love and care they gave Jack.
No service or flowers by request, if one so wishes, a donation to the Children's Hospital can be made in his name.
