Johanna Geertrui (Ann) Vander Putten
September 19, 1934 ~ November 11, 2010
We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Ann was predeceased by her father, mother and brother, Frits. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Abraham (Bram); her four children: Ellen (Ian), Chris (Sharon), Marianne (Lars), Peter, and her three grandsons: Andrew, Jacob, and Trevor. She also leaves to mourn, her siblings: Betty (John), John (Marj), Albert (Linda), Chris (Hilary), Elsa (Larry), many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in The Netherlands, Portugal, and New Zealand.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 19th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 4235 Departure Bay Road.
The family would like to extend their warmest appreciation towards Dr. Forrester, Dr. Dunn and the friendly staff at the Cancer Clinic, Nanaimo Home Support, Nanaimo Home Care Nursing and a special thank you to Jan.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
