JOAN (Peggy) GREEN
Passed away in her home in Qualicum on March 19, 2010 with her daughter, Hillary (Billy); daughter-in-law, Jean and their 3 dogs: Mysty, Sandy and Sabu at her side.
She is predeceased by her husband, Richard and leaves behind her son, John (Jean); daughter, Hillary (Arthur); grandchildren: Jess (Jon), Nicky (Ivan) and Thomas (Angela); and great-grandchildren: James, Liam and Rain.
Richard & Peg followed their family to Canada, in 1977, from South Africa where they spent their retirement.
The family so appreciates all the help Peg got from the “Village of Qualicum”, Quality foods, the Library, the Lab, the Bakery, the Medicine Centre Staff, Valhalla Hospice, the Home Support and Nursing Staff at VIHA, the Staff at Memorial Avenue Medical Clinic, Peg’s wonderful neighbours and very importantly the “Ravensong off-leash dog trails” for all our walks whilst visiting and caring for Peg. It really did take a “village” and there are not thanks enough for the blessings you all brought to our mother.
