James Michael Jacob

Predeceased by his father John, 1974; mother Agnes, 1976, sister Betty, 1995; first wife Dorothy, 1991 and 2 brother-in-laws, Alec and Bill. James is survived by his wife Dana, sons Rene (Lee) and Cory (Vicki), stepson David (Deb), stepdaughters Karon (Delbert), Heather (Bruce), 8 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, sisters Anne, Sue (Art), Grace (Lorne), brother Andy (Louise), several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and an abundance of friends. Jim was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. Worked in the oil field and lived in several provinces and Texas. Purchased Unique Gifts and Engraving in 1993, where he worked with Dana his wife. His passion for fishing with his buddies on the Strait and the West coast of the Island kept him busy in his spare time. He will be sadly missed for his very big heart and his unique way of expressing his opinion. Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 2:00pm at the Lantzville Legion. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to “The First Open Heart Society of B.C.”, Nanaimo Chapter, NRGH.
