A memorial service was held in the Church of Christ on Meredith Road Monday September 15 for James Keith Morris born March 9th, 1926 in Lampman, Saskatchewan. He passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept 13, at Arranglenn Lodge in Qualicum Beach

Keith was predeceased by his wife Mildred in 1994, by his sister Mrs. Alice Gow of Cedar, by his brother Mr. Clayton of Nanaimo and has one surviving sister Jean Kemp of Nanaimo and several nieces and nephews. 5 children; Dwight Morris of Alberta & Judy Morris of Nanaimo; Brenda Morris & Jim Berryere of Nanaimo; Linda Morris of Nanaimo; Patricia & David Montpetit of Kamloops; Bonnie-Jean & Greg Costall of Gibsons. 4 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 4 great granddaughters & 1 great grandson. He was laid to rest next to his most beloved Mildred in the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.

Keith and his excavating business were well known in Nanaimo for decades. In his later years he started every morning with a walk on the sea wall and coffees at the Javawalkie before spending time in his garden. Keith spent the final years of his life in Arranglenn Lodge and the family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff that lovingly cared for him. He was loved!
