James (Jim) Campbell Bassett
age 84, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo B.C. on April 25th 2017.
Born September 22 1932 in New Westminster, Jim enjoyed living the majority of his life here on Vancouver Island. After owning The Patricia Hotel and The Lantzville Pub for a short time he could be seen going for daily walks along the Nanaimo Harbour meeting friends for coffee or treating himself to a meal at Penny’s Palapa. He will be remembered for his strong will and love for great music. No funeral will be held as requested.
