James Dickerson

“Doug”

James Douglas “Doug” Dickerson left us March 4th 20017.

Now we begin to remember not just that he died but that he lived.

He has left us with the wonderful memories of what a kind, generous loving man he was.

He was a blessing and will be greatly missed by the love of his life and wife of 55 years, Dolly.

He also leaves his sister Ruth and children, sons Glenn (Amy) Evans, Jerry (Debbie) Evans, Dawna (Doug) Barnes and Darlene (Peter) Rogerson, his grandchildren Evan, Andrew, Kristopher, Sara, Cody, Ashley and Hayden and Great Grandchildren Jake, Huxley, Rowan, Kai and Quinn.

Doug was a mechanic by trade and owned Townsite Texaco for many years until he went to work for B.C. Hydro.

After retirement he and Dolly took well deserved trips across North America, spent countless hours with family and even found time for the odd casino visit.

Anyone fortunate enough to have met Doug came away a better human being.

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

No service by family request. In lieu of flowers a donation to the BC Heart and Stroke would be appreciated.
