Rae joins his loving wife Mary and is survived by his sons Rae (Kathy) and Peter (Sonya), grandchildren Shawn Hughes, Robert (Michelle), Sam (Anna), Theresa and Cierra, and Great-grandsons Fergus , Fynn and Bruce Hughes. His sisters Mary Singer, Ruth Travis and Ann Walkosky. Predeceased by his parents Rae and Lyle and sister Irene. Rae was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren.
He was an avid curler and sports enthusiast. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
Services at Sands Chapel in Nanaimo at 11am on MAY 12 . Lunch at the Moose Hall from 2:00 till 5:00pm. Internment at the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.
