BLAIR, Ida May Frances
Passed away suddenly on August 21, 2008. Born in the (Diamond) Ladysmith, BC on February 19, 1914 to Catherine and John Davis.
Predeceased by her husband Harry, sisters Lil McKinley and Flo Radford, brother Buster Davis, and grandchildren Michael 1994, and Janet (Philbrook) 1995. Survived by her son Bob (Sharon), grandson David (Susann), great-grandchildren Brittany & Marissa Philbrook, and Ashley & Nicole Blair, and sisters Olive Gilson and Elsie Cullon.
Ida was a Charter Member of the Native Daughters of BC Dunsmuir Post 7. She joined in 1931, and was Past Grand Factor. At the time of her death she was Corresponding Secretary. Ida was also a Charter Member of the Ladysmith Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxilliary.
Private interment in the Ladysmith Cemetery, followed by an Eagle's Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Thursday August 28, 2008 in the Ladysmith Eagle's Hall. No flowers by request, donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated.
