Former Nanaimo resident and long-time “athletic supporter” Lyle Christie, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2009 at the age of 69 in Nova Scotia. Friends are welcome to join his family in a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 between 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Rotary Activity Center located at 850, 3rd St., Nanaimo.
