Moody, Helen Ruth
Moody, Helen RUTH born in Calgary, AB on August 18, 1919. Passed away peacefully on December 19, 2010 in her 91st year and went to see her Lord and Saviour with her family by her side. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Marjorie and son-in-law, Don Pelton of Nanaimo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; two sisters, one brother and her parents, Elmore and Ethel. She is survived by daughter, Marjorie (Donald) Pelton of Nanaimo; grandsons: Robert (Laura) Pelton, Carl (Raycine) Pelton and great grandchildren: Shea, Katelyn and Kristen of Red Deer, AB; daughter, Edna Walpole; grandsons; Ronald and Kenneth (Karen) Walpole and 3 great grandchildren of Winnipeg, MB. Ruth is also survived by Mildred (Sidney) Jessop, Lawson (Agnes) Haynes, Newel Haynes, Roger (Doris) Haynes and Elwood (Shirley) Haynes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a member of the OES in Parksville and Nanaimo.
At the request of my mother, there will be no service celebrating her life. A Private Family Service will take place at a later date. In memory, please donate to the charity of one’s choice.
