Basi, Gulzar Singh (Charlie)

Gulzar passed away suddenly on May 1, 2009. He was born in India and moved to Canada in 1951 where he worked in the forest industry for 42 years. He spent 26 of those years with Doman Forest products and he retired in 1993. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Hoshiar Kaur, his two sons Malkiat (Sukhdev) and Jagdesh (Sarah), as well his grandchildren Harjeet, Baljeet, and Kuldeep. Many of the people who knew Gulzar knew he loved to go for walks around town and spend time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A service in honour of his life will be held on Saturday May 9th at 10:00 AM at First Memorial Funeral Services in Nanaimo.
