Heisholt, Gloria Hope (Bette)
Bette passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 14, 2008, at the age of 81 years. She leaves behind her best friend of 20 years Ralph, as well as her five children: Peter (Bonnie), Patti (Tim), Judy, Mike (Amelia), Darren (Analeise), along with 10 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial was held at Kiwanis Village on December 19, 2008. Donations in Bette’s name can be made to Texada Island Health Centre or Nanaimo Hospice Society.
