Bill passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife Claire after a sudden heart attack. Survived by his brother Pat (Eileen) of Chicago, sons Rick and Doug (Laurie) and granddaughters Danielle and Brittanie as well as his extended family and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Memorial Funeral Home, 1720 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo at 6 pm on Friday, May 6th. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made to the Nanaimo Hospice. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Palliative Care NRGH.
