THOMAS, George Elved
born in Atwater Saskatchewan on September 23, 1912, passed away peacefully, in his sleep on February 14, 2004. Elved was a War Veteran who served with the Winnipeg Grenadiers, and was a P.O.W. in Hong Kong. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Bertha, his four daughters, Arley (Ron House) of Victoria, Trudy (Douglas Worth) of Vancouver, Judy (Leonard Timmins) of Prince George and Nola Wilson of Courtenay, also five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In honour of his wishes, there will not be a formal service.
