Fuller, Gayle Lynn
Gayle was born in Nanaimo on January 24, 1956 and passed away in Nanaimo Regional Hospital on August 26, 2003, with family and friends at her bedside. Gayle fought a brave battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her daughter Melanie Wedholm in 1980 and by her father Robert (Bob) Hallett in 1987. Gayle is survived by her husband Gordon, her son Erik Wedholm, her mother Lillian Merritt, as well as her step-father Frank Merritt, her brother Gary Hallett and her nephew Adam and niece Ashley as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Though her spirit has left this earth, Gayle lives on in the memories of the many people she touched in life.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Samaritan House Emergency Shelter, 355 Nicol Street, Nanaimo, BC V9R 4T5 or through a random act of kindness to a stranger. A memorial service will be held at the First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road at 1:30pm on the 6th of September, 2003.
