Galina Pembroke
Galina died suddenly on September 13, 2009 at the age of 34. She is survived by her loving father Brian, mother Annette, sister Gabrielle, grandparents Edna and George Pembroke, Knud Steensen, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Galina had many talents, the most obvious and natural one being a gifted writer. Her articles were published both here and overseas.
She will be remembered for her sense of humour, but more importantly for her selfless, gentle, loving spirit. She is sadly missed by those who knew her, including her dog Sammy, whom she was extremely devoted to.
A Memorial was held in her honour at the Phoenix Centre on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11:00 am.
