passed away suddenly at the river fishing in the company of his good friend Lawrence on January 5, 2003 age 54 years. Survived by 2 sons Garrett and Preston and their mother Damaris Doerr; his parents Moore and Irene of Olalla, BC; brothers Martin (Barbara) of Nanaimo and Raymond (Vicki) of Ladysmith; nephews Marty, Jared and Andrew; niece Amanda; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Mount Benson Funeral Home, 125 Wallace Street, Nanaimo, BC on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 4:00 P.M. with reception following. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund will be established for Garrett and Preston at the Royal Bank, Brooks Landing, Nanaimo, BC
