FLORENCE MARY LOUDON (Nee Wargo)

August 2nd, 1916 – June 9th, 2007

Passed away peacefully at Dufferin Place.

Predeceased by her husband Ross in 1979 and her beloved son Douglas in 1962.

Florence is survived by her son Robert Loudon and her daughter in-law Diane Loudon; two grandsons: Rob (Ellizabeth) and Tony (Carol); sister in law Vema Wargo; nieces Darlene (Norm) Martin; Dorothy Rodway; Susanna (Neal) Mckinley and Joyce Sorley and many many other family members.

Florence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful friend and neighbour. She was a life long resident of Extension and was a very active member of the community. She was well known for her baking skills and gardening and was a very outgoing, warm woman who enjoyed her life amongst her many friends and relatives.

No flowers by request. Donations in Florence’s memory may be made to the Extension Recreation Commission, c/o 670 Muzwell Hill, Nanaimo, B.C. V9X 1G2, for a community commemorative bench for Florence and Ross Loudon.

A celebration of Florence’s life will be held on Sunday, June 17th, 2007, from l p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Extension Community Hall in Extension.
