FERN ETHEL FOX
(nee Mandin)
December 30, 1933 ~ April 9, 2009
Fern - beloved wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend passed away April 9, 2009 surrounded by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Louie; mother Stephanie; sister Louise; and beloved son Barry. She leaves to mourn: her loving husband Kevin, sons Tom (Leah); Brad (Tamie); and Grant. Stepchildren: Valerie, Michael (Penny), Wendy (Rick) and Janice (Jim); brother Gene (Sharon); 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.
Born in Prince Albert, Sask. to Louie and Stephanie Mandin on Dec. 30, 1933. She moved to Vancouver where she was employed at General Paint before retiring so she and Kevin could enjoy their retirement travelling around Canada and the U.S.
Fern enjoyed sharing her life and laughter with her many friends, family and especially her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.
Service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10:30 am at the Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, BC.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
