BARUTA, Emma
Emma suddenly slipped away on April 4, 2007. Born on October 27, 1928 in Hungary, she made Nanaimo her home since 1963. Emma was predeceased by her husband Arpad Sr. in September 1985. She leaves behind her son Arpad Jr. and his wife Barb (who was treated and loved as her own daughter), granddaughters Jaime, Sarah and Katelyn, 3 step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter. Emma loved riding the bus with her friends and going for coffee in the mall. A very special thanks to Lori and Mrs. Jones for always being there for mom. The family thanks NRGH 4th floor and Palliative Care for their help and kindness. Special thanks to Steve, the ambulance attendant, for his kind gesture to mom. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Emma will be deeply missed and never forgotten by friends and family.
