Elsie Stafford
June 19, 1920 ~ March 21, 2010
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, Elsie Stafford. Elsie died on March 21st after just a short stay at NRGH. A grand lady of 89 years, who had a smile, a hug, and a kind word with all those who crossed her path. She loved to sing, and she made friends wherever she went. She has spent the past 9 months enjoying the good life at Origin At Longwood; the very best place to be. Elsie was predeceased by her sister Winnie; brother Jim; and in 1999 by her husband Bob. She is survived by her eldest daughter Barbara Newbury; husband Pat; and grandchildren: Tracey and Claire and 3 great grandsons. She is also survived by her daughter Joyce Myers and husband Herb; her sister Sheila Hetherington, husband Ian, their children and grandchildren and by a few remaining relatives residing in England.
