CAMPBELL, Elizabeth (Beth) (nee MacLellan)

Born in Alder Point, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, on the 25th of August, 1916, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Regional Hospital, on December 16th, 2005 with her family and friends by her side. She is survived by her two sons Leonard (Len), David (Dave), and her daughter Carolyn (Carla). Also by her brother Joseph E MacLellan and his wife Mary. Beth grew up in Alder point, was educated and was married there to her everlasting love Joe Campbell (Burton). During the war years she and her family kept the lighthouse at Low Point, Near Sidney, Nova Scotia. In 1948 they moved west, and settled in Nanaimo, British Columbia. There, with many friends and colleagues was active in various communal activities. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Women's League and a co-founder of St Peters Womens Club. Providing specific help for mothers and families in need. For the past few years, she attended Trinity Catholic Church. Beth was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion #257, Lantzville Branch, near Nanaimo. Prayers and Visitation, will be held at Telford's Mid-Island Funeral Services located at 595 Townsite Road, Nanaimo at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 8th, 2006. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Trinity Catholic Church, 6234 Spartan Road, Nanaimo at 11:00 am on Monday the 9th of January, 2006, followed by a Burial Service at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CNIB, The Red Cross or charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to:
